Acids Cause Heart Attacks and Strokes NOT Cholesterol!
A new national study has shown that nearly 75 percent of all patients hospitalized for a Heart attack or stroke had normal or low cholesterol levels. According to current savants this would indicate they were not at high risk for a cardiovascular event, according to current national cholesterol guidelines.
Specifically, these patients had low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels that met current guidelines, and close to half had LDL levels classified in guidelines as optimal (less than 100 mg/dL).
According to Dr. Robert O. Young, Director of the pH Miracle Living Center, "if you have normal or low blood cholesterol and are living and acidic lifestyle and diet you are at a higher risk for a stroke or heart attack than someone with cholesterol over 300 mg/dl."
"High blood cholesterol indicates that the body is trying to buffer excess dietary and/or metabolic acid. This is a good thing. Cholesterol is good not bad. Acid is bad and the cause of stroke and heart attacks," states Dr. Young.
"Almost 75 percent of heart attack patients fell within recommended targets for LDL cholesterol, demonstrating that the current guidelines may not be low enough to cut heart attack risk in most who could benefit," said Dr. Gregg C. Fonarow, Eliot Corday Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Science at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the study's principal investigator.
"Unfortunately, Dr. Fonarow and Cordsay just don't get it. Cholesterol is not the problem. The problem is a person's acidic lifestyle and dietary choices," states Dr. Young.
While the risk of cardiovascular events increases substantially with LDL levels above 40-60 mg/dL, current national cholesterol guidelines consider LDL levels less than 100-130 mg/dL acceptable for many individuals. The guidelines are thus not effectively identifying the majority of individuals who will develop fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, according to the study's authors.
"Persons who are at risk for a heart attack or stroke are persons who live an acidic lifestyle and diet, such as:
1) Lack of adequate exercise. You should exercise every day for at least 1 hour. And you should be sweating which helps to remove dietary and metabolic acids from the blood and tissues.
2) Eating animal proteins. Cut out all animal proteins for plant proteins, such as Hemp meal or protein. Hemp protein has twice the protein content than animal protein.
3) Eating dairy products. There are no substitutes for dairy products.
4) Vinegar. Never use it. IT is poisonous!
5) Mushrooms and algae. They break the body down and recycle it back to the earth.
6) Corn, corn starch and corn syrup. It is a strong acid and should never be consumed!
7) Peanuts. They are full of mold.
8) Eggs. Eggs are for creating a baby chick not for eating. They are full of bacteria. Approximately 38,000,000 million per egg. Eggs are dirty and filthy of the blood and tissues. They also activate the immune system to clean up the bloody mess.
9) Chocolate. Two acids - theobromine and methylbromine - they both kill.
10) Any form of sugar with the last 3 letters of "ose' or "tol." For example, sucrose or maltose, or Xylitol or Mannitol. All sugar in all of its forms is toxic to the body and should never be consumed.
These are the top ten acidic food choices that destroy a body and lead to heart attack or stroke," states Dr. Young.
Researchers also found that more than half of patients hospitalized for a heart attack had poor high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol levels, according to national guidelines.
"If you want to be healthy you need healthy fats. The healthiest of all the fats are the polyunsaturated Omega 3's found in flax seed and hemp seed. I suggest eating at least 2 to 3 ounces of healthy oil or fat a day. This helps to increase the high-density lipoproteins," states Dr. Young.
Published in the January issue of the American Heart Journal, the study suggests that lowering guideline targets for LDL cholesterol for those at risk for cardiovascular disease, as well as developing better treatments to raise HDL cholesterol, may help reduce the number of patients hospitalized for heart attack in the future.
"Sounds like good advise from the allopathic point of view but is is way off the target. The key is to decrease acidic foods and drinks and increase exercise, alkaline foods and drinks, especially the long chain fats or Omega 3's," states Dr. Young.
Researchers analyzed data from 136,905 patients hospitalized for a heart attack nationwide between 2000 and 2006 whose lipid levels upon hospital admission were documented. This accounted for 59 percent of total hospital admissions for heart attack at participating hospitals during the study period.
Among individuals without any prior cardiovascular disease or diabetes, 72.1 percent had admission LDL levels less than 130 mg/dL, which is the current LDL cholesterol target for this population. Thus, the vast majority of individuals having their first heart attack would not have been targeted for effective preventative treatments based on the criteria used in the current guidelines.
The team also found that half of the patients with a history of heart disease had LDL cholesterol levels lower than 100 mg/dL, and 17.6 percent of patients had LDL levels below 70 mg/dL, which are guideline targets for LDL cholesterol in those at fair risk and at high risk for cardiovascular disease, respectively.
The study also showed that HDL cholesterol, or "good cholesterol," levels have dropped in patients hospitalized for heart attack over the past few years, possibly due to increasing rates of obesity, insulin resistance and diabetes.
Researchers found that 54.6 percent of patients had HDL levels below 40 mg/dL. Developing more effective treatments to boost HDL levels may help reduce the number of patients hospitalized for heart attacks, according to the authors.
"We found that less than 2 percent of heart attack patients had both ideal LDL and HDL cholesterol levels, so there is room for improvement," said Fonarow.
Fonarow said that only 59 percent of patients in the database had their lipid levels checked upon admission, which should be increased, since these early measurements can often help guide treatment decisions.
He also noted that only 21 percent of patients in the study were taking lipid-lowering medications before admission, despite almost half having a prior history of cardiovascular events, which would prompt treatment.
"Bottom line, heart attacks and strokes are caused by acidic lifestyles and diets. If you want to reduce the risk for heart attack and stroke the focused needs to be placed on the personal lifestyle and dietary choice - and that choice needs to move to a more alkaline lifestyle and diet," states Dr. Young.

Restricting Salt for Good Health?
I know you probably heard about the item last night on NBC Nightly News indicating that people should consume less than 1 tsp. of salt per day. The item on the NBC Nightly News quotes the Center for Science in the Public Interest. Doesn't sound like much of an interest in the "health" of the public, so much as their own interest in publicity. But a restriction in salt or sodium chloride is the single most contributing factor in causing ALL sickness and dis-ease or so-called disease.
I have written Brian Williams and have alerted him to his irresponsible journalism... citing our own facts and science.

What do you suppose would happen if we put the ocean life on a restricted salt diet or a salt-free diet? The obvious would happen - all life in the ocean would DIE!
Salt or sodium chloride is the major element of all of the body fluids and responsible for preserving and maintaining the alkaline design of the body. This is why our body fluids are salted with sodium chloride! Without salt you would die. In my own research I have found that every person who is sick or tired is SALT DEFICIENT! Restricting salt is like restricting oxygen. What needs to be restricted is NOT salt but acidic lifestyles and diets. GET OFF YOUR ACID! NOT YOUR SALT!

This type of inaccurate reporting is why we have so much trouble in this country really addressing health issues at a time when all types of dis-eases and medical costs are increasing.
It's ironic that President Obama just this morning held a press conference on getting adequate health care to all Americans and containing costs. Several large Pharmaceutical Companies have agreed to "limit" medical cost INCREASES over the next few
years. It's the old scam..."give a little now, to take more later". And... President Obama fell for it.
Please write your Congress Men or Women today and let them know that President Obama's so-called health plan is NOT the path to better health and fitness. Limiting the cost of drugs by Pharmaceutical Companies does not equate to better health for Americans. What this country needs is Education NOT Medication. Americans need to be educated in the knowledge of the New Biology(R) and the true path to health, energy, vitality and fitness.
Personal responsibility and the understanding of the pH Miracle Lifestyle and Diet and the importance of eating liberal amounts of salt daily is the only way.
In the words of Gandhi, "you must be the change you want to see."

Emotions Become Biology
Can positive or negative thoughts and emotions affect your body's delicate biochemistry or the acid/alkaline pH balance?
Love, fear, joy, anger, sadness, happiness, resentment. Can positive or negative emotions affect your body's physical, mental and spiritual health?
Is a woman more likely to become pregnant if she eats a lot of vegetables or if she were to go on a long, relaxing vacation?
Are you more likely to do cancer if you have a hot temper?
Do people who laugh a lot live longer?
Does your anxiety or fear of crowds, elevators, blood, heights, spiders, hospitals, or airplanes somehow affect your health?
My theory of one sickness, one disease and one health, set forth in what I call "The New Biology," not only considers how our diet affects our physiology, but also how our psychology affects our physiology and how our psychology affects our spirituality.
Not only does the health of your body affect the emotions of your mind, but your thoughts and feelings can affect the health of your entire body.
Bottom line, your mental state is ever so critical. In so many ways, your mental state, if it's negative, can create more metabolic acids than the acidic food that you're eating
In fact, you can create two or three times=2 0more metabolic acids from your thoughts or your mental and emotional state than from ingesting highly acidic dairy, animal protein, sugar and alcohol.
So your thoughts are critical. Your thoughts or words do become matter, and can affect your physiology in a negative or positive way. Your thoughts do become biology. And the way that thoughts become biology is as follows:
When you have a thought or say a word, it requires electrical or electron energy for the brain cell(s) to produce those actions. And as you carry on with that thought, you are burning or consuming energy. And when you are consuming energy in your thoughts, you are producing a biological waste product called acid which is an energetic waste product which can be measured in pH, oxidative reduction potential, hertz and decibels.
Next, if the metabolic acids from your thoughts are not properly eliminated through the four channels of elimination which are urination, perspiration, respiration or defecation, then the acids from your thoughts are moved out into your connective and fatty tissues because it must not be allowed to affect the pH of the blood. The delicate balance of the blood must remain quite constant 7.365 to remain healthy.
What happens next is this. As the excess and overload of acid are thrown out into the body tissues, this can easily lead to all sorts of symptomologies: lupus, fibromyalgia, Lyme's, arthritis, muscle pain, fatigue, tiredness,20obesity, cancerous breasts, cancerous prostate, cancerous stomach and/or bowels, indigestion, acid reflux, heart burn, heart attacks, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, dementia, autism, and the list goes on and on.
For example let's say you've been doing sadness or depression. This downer feeling is coming from a negative experience that you keep looping and re-looping in your head. It's like a mind movie. It's a mini-drama that you keep playing over and over. And because you are constantly thinking about it, eventually you even start to be concerned or worried about the fact that you are so preoccupied with the whole affair. So now in addition to the sad drama, you are experiencing upset about the fact that you're having the drama itself. All of this thinking requires energy and when you're consuming energy you are also producing metabolic acids.
Do you know any angry people? You may not know it, but many people who become angry easily not only get angry at various people, events, and situations, but eventually they are irritated with themselves for being so angry at everything else. Anger, for instance, requires a tremendous amount of energy and emits a great deal of electrical energy. You have undoubtedly felt the vibrational energy of someone who is angry. Or maybe you have felt your own anger and how it can upset your physiology, i.e., especially upset your stomach and bowels with excess acid leading to indigestion, stomach pain, acid reflux or ulcers.
Even worse, many of these negative emotions are chronic and can be traced all the way back to early childhood experiences. So, at one level or another, it's been going on for a long time and creating excessive acid all along.
For many people, early childhood represents some of the most fearful and vulnerable years. Have you ever wondered why you can't remember much before age five or six? Many of those years are filled with fears and tears, mads and sads and how about the "bads"? Do you remember what happened when you were "bad?" Imagine the acid from those experiences. In addition to the punitive experience itself, imagine the acidity a child deals with by simply a) remembering such a "bad" experience or b) anticipating the possibility of another such "bad" experience...or c) both! Some "children" remember these events forever!
Some chronic emotions begin early:
"O dear white children casual as birds, Playing among the ruined languages, So small beside their large confusing words, So gay against the greater silences, Of dreadful things you did..."
It is during these vulnerable and unprotected years that we often plant eternal seeds of emotion that will yield an unwelcome harvest of acidic internal results, perhaps throughout one's entire life.
The turmoil between parents and children, not to mention the conflicts between children and children, have been documented by many thousands of social science books and articles.
"Children begin by loving their parents; after a time they judge them; Rarely, if ever, do they forgive them."
So, let's take a look at all of that emotion. Perhaps you are feeling a strong emotion. It could be any emotion.
First of all, emotions are energy in motion. When you are (e)motional, you are energetic, either in a positive or negative way. And if you are energetic, you are literally energy in (e)motion. You are now producing metabolic acids at a very high rate which is a waste product of such (e)motions.
The rate of acid production in an (e)motional state can be even greater than that of someone who is jogging or working out. So, your thoughts do become biological or metabolic acids that can make you sick, tired, depressed, angry and even too fat or underweight.
When you start producing acids with your thoughts, words and actions, what happens inside? First, you activate the alkaline-buffering systems of the body in order to neutralize these (e)motional acids. The body begins making a primary alkaline buffer known as sodium bicarbonate. It's actually made from the blood and during its production, it creates a waste product known as hydrochloric acid.
Hydrochloric acid is a poisonous toxin and cannot remain in the blood. So it is dropped down into the gastric pits of the stomach. This is why people get upset stomachs or become constipated when they are (e)motional. This increase of sodium bicarbonate is critical in maintaining the alkaline design of the body, the pH of 7.365 for the blood, and for maintaining alkalinity of the interstitial fluids. If these acids, including hydrochloric acid, are not buffered and/or eliminated through the four channels of elimination, they can create serious health challenges in your body, mind, and spirit.
On the other hand, positive (e)motions, such as love, peace, hope, faith, joy, forgiveness and charity can be alkalizing to the blood and tissues. These (e)motions require far less energy and can cause you to be relaxed in your mind and stop the playing of some acidic movie in your head. Students of higher consciousness know that you can even enter into a state of bliss wherein you have no thoughts and wherein you are producing no metabolic acid.
For myself, I have decided to call this wonderful place "Young Love." That's because I exercise and meditate every day. And I Love it! And it raises my level of consciousness and positive connection with the world. The connections between "Young" and "Love" are numerous. My name is Young, of course, but more importantly, being young is a term we normally associate with being youthful, energetic, open, optimistic, and filled with excitement. And the ultimate purpose of life is Love. And Love is the sweetest expression of life. So Young and Love go together.
To be sure, I Love my exercising and it Loves me back in terms of its gifts to me. I find myself Loving this state of bliss daily which I know is helping to alkalize my body. That is why I am addicted to why I Love this type of alkalizing exercise that I do every day. It's called a Positive Addiction. I Love to have my friends and guests work out with me as I lead them through the steps. I teach them the Young version of Yoga. I tell them that it is known as Younga Yoga. They Love that. (Well, at least they laugh.) It incorporates proper breathing, stretching, toning, mediation, relaxation, and of course some sweating to remove yesterday's dietary and metabolic acid and to help bring me into a state of happiness and bliss.
Through my personal and clinical research, I have found that maintaining the alkaline design of my body with an alkaline lifestyle and diet is the most important thing anyone can do to live a happier and more blissful life. Having an alkaline day is a way of life that I call Young Living. I guarantee you that what I20call Young Love will go hand-in-hand with the goal of Young Living.
Now this next thought is very important! The negative emotions of anger, resentment, and fear being the most powerful and acidifying of all emotions are all highly acidic to the blood and tissues and in many ways are paralyzing to all bodily functions. Over time, the fear of the unknown is probably the most powerful and acidic of them all. Fear is so devastating to the body that even if you're on an alkaline diet, overcoming a serious health challenge is practically impossible.
In such a dire case, with what may seem to be little or no improvement, you might be wondering if the pH Miracle Lifestyle and Diet may not be working. You may be asking, "What else am I not doing that I should be? How come I feel the way that I'm feeling? I'm eating the right way, I'm drinking the right alkaline electron rich water, but I can't seem to achieve the type of extraordinary health and energy that I'm seeking."
In most cases like this, when you are eating and drinking correctly, it will come down to your negative acidic (e)motions or thoughts that are holding you back from achieving extraordinary health, fitness, mental clarity, happiness, and bliss. However, keep this in mind:
When you're eating an alkaline diet and you are doing everything you know how to do, and yet you are overwhelmed with worry, doubt and negative emotions, thank God you're eating an alkaline diet! If your body were not seriously in the alkaline direction, you might very well be experiencing a struggle for your life. Your acidic emotions can literally kill you. So the alkaline diet is the saving grace. Knowing that should give you the positive hope that you can hang on, get through the emotional stress, and still come out physically and mentally able.
Hope and positive expectations are always the key, and knowing that you are on an alkaline diet should aid significantly in boosting your hope and confidence. You may not know it, but many people who become angry easily not only get angry at various people, events, and situations, but eventually they are irritated with themselves for being so angry at everything else. So, let's take a look at all of that emotion. Perhaps you are feeling a strong emotion. It could be any emotion.

When you start producing acids with your thoughts, words and actions, what happens inside? On the other hand, positive (e)motions, such as love, peace, hope, faith, joy, forgiveness and charity can be alkalizing to the blood and tissues. These (e)motions require far less energy and can cause you to be relaxed in your mind and stop the playing of some acidic movie in your head. Students of higher consciousness know that you can even enter into a state of bliss wherein you have no thoughts and wherein you are producing no metabolic acid.
For myself, I have decided to call this wonderful place "Young Love." That's because I exercise and meditate every day. And I Love it! And it raises my level of consciousness and positive connection with the world. The connections between "Young" and "Love" are numerous. My name is Young, of course, but more importantly, being young is a term we normally associate with being youthful, energetic, open, optimistic, and filled with excitement. And the ultimate purpose of life is Love. And Love is the sweetest expression of life. So Young and Love go together.

Eating Fruit May Be Hazardous to Your Health
As a follow-up to recent research reports indicating that there is NO safe level of alcohol consumption when it comes to a cancerous condition. I think you can extrapolate from the following video that ALL sweet fruit ferments in the alimentary canal producing more or less acetylaldehyde (a nuero-toxin) and alcohol depending on the sugar content of the fruit. All high carbohydrate foods ferment in the digestive process, especially sweet fruits... producing acetylaldeyde and alcohol or excess acid.... directly causing over acidity, which in turn, causes all cancerous conditions (and other maladies). Acetylaldehyde and alcohol denatures protein and produces a whole host of dis-ease states, not the least of which is contributing to all cancerous conditions.

Cancer is Acid and Acid is Cancer
It seems that both red and white wine are "equal acidic offenders" when it comes to increasing the risk of breast cancer, according to a study published today.
"We were interested in teasing out red wine's effects on breast cancer risk. There is reason to suspect that red wine might have beneficial effects based on previous studies of heart disease and prostate cancer," Dr. Polly Newcomb, of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, noted in a hospital statement.
"The general evidence is that alcohol consumption overall increases breast cancer risk, but the other studies made us wonder whether red wine might in fact have some positive value," she explained.
However, in their analysis, Newcomb's team found no difference between red or white wine in relation to breast cancer risk. "Neither appears to have any benefits," she said.
Among a large group of women with and without breast cancer, Newcomb and colleagues found that women who drank 14 or more acidic alcoholic drinks per week -- regardless of whether they drank red or white wine, liquor or beer -- faced a 24 percent increase in breast cancer compared with non-drinkers.
"If a woman drinks," Newcomb told Reuters Health, "she should do so in moderation -- no more than one drink per day. And if a woman chooses red wine, she should do so because she favors the taste, not because it may reduce her risk of breast cancer."
The findings are based on 6,327 women with breast cancer and 7,558 women matched for age who provided information about their drinking habits and other risk factors for breast cancer. The women, who were between 20 and 69 years old, were from Wisconsin, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The frequency of alcohol consumption was similar in both groups, and equal proportions of women in both groups reported consuming red wine and white wine.
According to Dr. Robert O. Young, Director of Research at the pH Miracle Living Center, "alcohol is a toxic acid that can be stored in the fatty tissues even the breast tissue causing both women and men an acidic condition known as breast cancer. "If a woman drinks," Newcomb told Reuters Health, "she should do so in moderation -- no more than one drink per day. And if a woman chooses red wine, she should do so because she favors the taste, not because it may reduce her risk of breast cancer."
The findings are based on 6,327 women with breast cancer and 7,558 women matched for age who provided information about their drinking habits and other risk factors for breast cancer. The women, who were between 20 and 69 years old, were from Wisconsin, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The frequency of alcohol consumption was similar in both groups, and equal proportions of women in both groups reported consuming red wine and white wine.
According to Dr. Robert O. The Unscientific Nonsense of Gabe Mirkin's Acid/Alkaline Theory Article
Many of you have written to me concerning an article written by Gabe Mirkin entitled, "Acid/Alkaline Theory of Disease Is Nonsense." Actually, Dr.
Mirkin has chimed in with his two cents worth on any number of occasions, each time being approximately incorrect as every other time.
It is quite amazing that the allopathic community still does not understand some of the most fundamental activities of the human body including eating, drinking, digestion and most important pH fluid balancing.
The following are a few of the major statements made by Gabe Mirkin in one of his most recent articles and my subsequent comments about what he is saying.

Acid/Alkaline Theory of Disease Is Nonsense by Gabe Mirkin, M.D.
Dr. Gabe states, "Have you seen advertisements for products such as coral calcium or alkaline water that are supposed to neutralize acid in your bloodstream? Taking calcium or drinking alkaline water does not affect blood acidity.
Anyone who tells you that certain foods or supplements make your stomach or blood acidic does not understand nutrition."
The truth is that taking alkaline supplements or drinking alkaline water will first buffer the dietary acids in the stomach before buffering the metabolic acids of the blood and tissues.
This is a good thing since the ideal pH of the stomach should be over 7.2 to do its work properly.
Current medical savants are simply incorrect when they state that the ideal pH of the stomach is in the 1.5 to 3.0 range. Further, any residual alkalinity that makes it into the blood stream will be thrown out into the interstitial fluids to buffer metabolic acids.
Dr. Gabe also states that, "vinegar is acidic and is used as a digestive enzyme. Protease, lipase and amylase are all acidic enzymes that break down proteins in the stomach and make the over-all pH of the stomach more acidic.
Most all supplements that help with digestion are acidic and will lower the pH of the stomach."
Wrong again, Dr. Merkin. When we ingest acidic digestive enzymes, we force the cover cells of the stomach to begin producing sodium bicarbonate to buffer the acidic protease, lipase and amylase.
In order for the stomach to produce sodium bicarbonate to buffer acidic supplements, food or drink, it must pull sodium, chloride, water and carbon dioxide from the blood. This can cause sodium and chloride deficiencies of the blood leading to enervation.
Also, for every molecule of sodium bicarbonate produced by the stomach, an acidic waste product of hydrochloric acid is produced which is taken up into the blood through the gastric pits causing an acidification of the blood and then tissues.
The blood cannot withstand the slightest decrease in alkalinity and so the hydrochloric acid is taken up by the connective tissues and the fatty tissues leading to latent tissue acidosis and the cause of all sickness and dis-ease.
Various parts of the body may also give up calcium, magnesium and potassium ions into the blood in order to help buffer the excess acids from the stomach.
When these important alkaline minerals are given up, especially on a consistent basis, this can then cause bone, muscle and other tissue to diminish or begin to degenerate due to the loss of these alkalizing ions. This is the cause of tissue wasting in what we refer to as degenerative dis-ease.
The secondary effects of taking acidic digestive enzymes and/or eating acidic food or drink is the damage to the delicate intestinal villi of the small intestine. When this happens, the body cannot produce healthy stem cells, erythroblasts and then erythrocytes.
This leads to blood disorders and then tissue disorders.
Without a healthy, small intestine, it is impossible to make healthy blood, and without healthy blood, it is impossible to make healthy body cells that make up body organs.
Dr. Gabe also states, "your stomach is so acidic that no food or drink can change its acidity.
Citrus fruits, vinegar, and vitamins such as ascorbic acid or folic acid do not change the acidity of your stomach or your bloodstream. An entire bottle of calcium pills or antacids would not change the acidity of your stomach for more than a few minutes."
This is just wrong. This is where Dr. Gabe Mirkin does not understand or has perhaps never been aware that the stomach lining secretes an equal amount of sodium bicarbonate into the stomach in order to alkalize the food, drink and supplements that we eat with a toxic acidic waste product of hydrochloric acid which is taken up by the blood to be eliminated.
When the body does not have enough sodium bicarbonate to alkalize food, the hydrochloric acid that is then produced will fall into the gastric pits of the stomach. Ideally, it would NEVER come into contact with the food as the sodium bicarbonate rises to the front or comes to the fore in order to alkalize the food or liquids ingested. The equation is:
NaCl + H20 + C02 <=> NaHC03 + HCL. The stomach begins producing and releasing sodium bicarbonate (an alkalizing compound) immediately when you put food or drink into your mouth. You can test the saliva after eating or drinking an acid food and you will find that in a healthy person, the pH of the saliva goes up to a pH of 8 or even greater.
When you put something into your mouth, the salivary glands immediately begin secreting sodium bicarbonate to increase the pH. This does not happen when you eat or drink an alkaline food or drink.
Another simple experiment will show you that when you combine sodium bicarbonate with hydrochloric acid in a flask, the hydrochloric acid will fall to the bottom of the flask as the sodium bicarbonate will rise to the top. This is what happens in the stomach. The sodium bicarbonate made from the cover cells of the stomach rises to the front to meet the food or liquids ingested as the hydrochloric acid falls into the gastric pits of the stomach away from the food or drink ingested. The primary purpose of sodium bicarbonate rising to the forefront is to alkalize the food, not digest or acidify the food. The stomach is an organ of contribution NOT digestion. Its main contribution is to manufacture sodium bicarbonate designed by Mother Nature to alkalize the food and liquids we ingest.
Dr. Gabe then states, "all foods that leave your stomach are acidic."
This statement is not categorically true as stated by Dr. Gabe. And ideally, it would never be true.
It would depend on how acid or alkaline the food is that you are dealing with and how healthy the body is. All food coming out of the stomach should be alkaline in preparation to be received by the small intestine at a pH of 8.2 to 8.4. If the food that comes out of the stomach into the duodenum is less than a pH of 8, then a healthy pancreas and gallbladder will secrete additional sodium bicarbonate in order to bring up the pH of the liquid food to an 8.2 to
8.4 pH. The secretion of sodium bicarbonate is only possible if the foundational elements of sodium, chloride, carbon dioxide and water are available from the blood. The stomach is the major organ for producing the alkaline sodium bicarbonate and is responsible for alkalizing and not digesting the food and liquids that we ingest.
Dr. Gabe also states, "the food enters your intestines where secretions from your pancreas neutralize the stomach acids. So no matter what you eat, the food in stomach is acidic and the food in the intestines is alkaline."
I would like you to understand that the pancreas and the gallbladder are only second in line or back-up glands to bring up the pH of the food or liquids ingested to the ideal 8.2 to 8.4 by secreting sodium bicarbonate. The alkalizing of our food and drink is very important in order that the liquefied food can be transformed into new stem cells in the crypts of the small intestine or the root system of the body for making new blood. If the liquid food is too acidic, it will harm and even destroy the intestinal villi. This will lead to many if not all sickness and dis-ease including all blood disorders.
Dr. Gabe then states, "You cannot change the acidity of any part of your body except your urine. Your bloodstream and organs control acidity in a very narrow range. Anything that changes acidity in your body would make you very sick and could even kill you. Promoters of these products claim that cancer cells cannot live in an alkaline environment and that is true, but neither can any of the other cells in your body.
First of all, there is no such thing as a cancer cell. There are only cells which have become cancerous. Cancerous cells-originally healthy cells-have been spoiled with dietary and/or metabolic acids. When you increase your alkalinity by simply using sodium bicarbonate, not only does your urine pH go up above 8, but your tears, sweat and saliva will also go up.
Our bodies are alkaline by design and acidic by function. Any food or drink that we ingest that will maintain that alkaline design will also preserve the body from aging and will keep it healthy, energetic and youthful.
Our body cells love alkalinity just like the ocean fish that swim in a pH of 8.3. My clinical microscopy and analysis over a 30 year period of research tells us that body cells thrive in mild, moderate and high pH fluids ranging from
7.3 to 11 pH. Body cells do not tolerate even a mild acid state. In fact cancerous cells thrive in a pH of 5.5.
Dr. Merkin goes on to state that "all chemical reactions in your body are started by chemicals called enzymes. For example, if you convert chemical A to chemical B and release energy, enzymes must start these reactions. All enzymes function in a very narrow range of acidity. (The degree of acidity or alkalinity is expressed as "pH."). If your blood changes its acidity or alkalinity for any reason, it is quickly changed back to the normal pH or these enzymes would not function and the necessary chemical reactions would not proceed in your body.
It is amazing to me how so many functions of the body are still not properly understood by so-called modern medicine medical practice that is still actually resting on the wrong foundational germ theory of Louis Pasteur. First of all, the body runs on electrons not enzymes.
The enzymes of the body are the exhaust or the acidic waste products of energy consumption.
We no more need enzymes to run our body then a car needs carbon monoxide to run. They are both acidic waste products of metabolism or energy consumption that need to be eliminated as quickly as possible through their exhaust systems. For the human body, acids would be eliminated through urination, perspiration, defecation or respiration."
Dr. Gabe states, "When you hold your breath, carbon dioxide accumulates in your bloodstream very rapidly and your blood turns acidic, and you will become uncomfortable or even pass out.
This forces you to start breathing again immediately, and the pH returns to normal. If your kidneys are damaged and cannot regulate the acidity of your bloodstream, chemical reactions stop, poisons accumulate in your bloodstream, and you can die."
Here Dr. Gabe is talking out of both sides of his mouth. He is right that when you hold your breath and if the blood cannot purify itself from the acidity, then you would die. But, this is the same thing that happens when you over-indulge in acidic lifestyles and diets. This is the same thing that happens when the body cannot eliminate its acidic waste products fast enough through its elimination systems and organs. So, dietary and/or metabolic acids that are not eliminated are thrown out into the blood and then into the connective tissues and fatty tissues leading to latent tissue acidosis the only cause of dis-ease. If this process continues and the lymphatic system does not or cannot eliminate the acid buildup, because of lack of alkaline hydration and exercise, through perspiration or back into circulation and then eliminated through urination, the acidic body wastes will begin building up and breaking down the body cells and tissues even while the blood is maintaining its alkaline state at
7.365 to 7.4.
When the acidity of the tissues continue, the blood overcompensates by pulling alkalinity from the bones and muscles into the blood and we then note a remarkable increase in the blood pH from
7.36 to 7.4 to 7.5. When the pH of the blood increases in alkalinity, we now know that the tissues are acidic and the body has entered into latent tissue acidosis. If this continues and the alkaline reserves of the body begin to be used up, the pH of the blood will reverse and go from a state of alkalosis or latent tissue acidosis to compensated acidosis to decompensated acidosis until death. That is why we see very sick people wasting away as the body is pulling its alkaline mineral resources from the bones and tissues into the blood in order to maintain the delicate pH balance of the blood at 7.365 to 7.4. When the human body is alkaline by design and acidic by function and is actively engaged in maintaining that alkaline design through an alkaline lifestyle and diet, it is theoretically impossible to lose bone mass or muscle mass or to get sick or tired.
Gabe states, "certain foods can leave end-products called ash that can make your urine either acid or alkaline, but urine is the only body fluid that can have its acidity changed by food or supplements."
The fact is that the urine is a direct reflection of the tissue pH, caused indirectly, in part, by food and drink, and can be either acidic or alkaline.
The ideal pH of the urine is 7.2 or above. Most folks have urine pH lower then 7.2. My own clinical research has indicated that an acidic urine pH will manifest as body fatigue and tiredness. A urine pH that is over 7.2 will manifest an energetic body.

The antioxidants of the cranberries help to buffer those acids with alkaline compounds thus reversing the very thing that causes the infection, that is, metabolic and/or dietary ACID."

That research is controlled in large part by the pharmaceutical industry in conjunction with medical schools.
Almost all non-traditional and alternative medical practitioners use products that cannot be patented and do not reap obscene profits from people who are unhealthy and sick. I think it is fair to say that medicine controlled by patents are more about money than health.
Thus, with this value system, there is little reason for profit-oriented pharmaceutical companies to look beyond the present broken-down system and model.
I encourage spokespersons such as Dr. Gabe Mirkin to look beyond the present system and to ask new questions about how the body works, why so many people are sick, why the elderly are on half a dozen medicines or more, why so many people die in the care of our medical system, and why so many people are becoming increasingly distrustful of the present medical system.
Mirkin has chimed in with his two cents worth on any number of occasions, each time being approximately incorrect as every other time.
It is quite amazing that the allopathic community still does not understand some of the most fundamental activities of the human body including eating, drinking, digestion and most important pH fluid balancing.
The following are a few of the major statements made by Gabe Mirkin in one of his most recent articles and my subsequent comments about what he is saying.

Acid/Alkaline Theory of Disease Is Nonsense by Gabe Mirkin, M.D.
Dr. Gabe states, "Have you seen advertisements for products such as coral calcium or alkaline water that are supposed to neutralize acid in your bloodstream? Taking calcium or drinking alkaline water does not affect blood acidity.
Anyone who tells you that certain foods or supplements make your stomach or blood acidic does not understand nutrition."
The truth is that taking alkaline supplements or drinking alkaline water will first buffer the dietary acids in the stomach before buffering the metabolic acids of the blood and tissues.
This is a good thing since the ideal pH of the stomach should be over 7.2 to do its work properly.
Current medical savants are simply incorrect when they state that the ideal pH of the stomach is in the 1.5 to 3.0 range. Further, any residual alkalinity that makes it into the blood stream will be thrown out into the interstitial fluids to buffer metabolic acids.
Dr. Gabe also states that, "vinegar is acidic and is used as a digestive enzyme. Protease, lipase and amylase are all acidic enzymes that break down proteins in the stomach and make the over-all pH of the stomach more acidic.
Most all supplements that help with digestion are acidic and will lower the pH of the stomach."
Wrong again, Dr. Merkin. When we ingest acidic digestive enzymes, we force the cover cells of the stomach to begin producing sodium bicarbonate to buffer the acidic protease, lipase and amylase.
In order for the stomach to produce sodium bicarbonate to buffer acidic supplements, food or drink, it must pull sodium, chloride, water and carbon dioxide from the blood. This can cause sodium and chloride deficiencies of the blood leading to enervation.
Also, for every molecule of sodium bicarbonate produced by the stomach, an acidic waste product of hydrochloric acid is produced which is taken up into the blood through the gastric pits causing an acidification of the blood and then tissues.
The blood cannot withstand the slightest decrease in alkalinity and so the hydrochloric acid is taken up by the connective tissues and the fatty tissues leading to latent tissue acidosis and the cause of all sickness and dis-ease.
Various parts of the body may also give up calcium, magnesium and potassium ions into the blood in order to help buffer the excess acids from the stomach.
When these important alkaline minerals are given up, especially on a consistent basis, this can then cause bone, muscle and other tissue to diminish or begin to degenerate due to the loss of these alkalizing ions. This is the cause of tissue wasting in what we refer to as degenerative dis-ease.
The secondary effects of taking acidic digestive enzymes and/or eating acidic food or drink is the damage to the delicate intestinal villi of the small intestine. When this happens, the body cannot produce healthy stem cells, erythroblasts and then erythrocytes.
This leads to blood disorders and then tissue disorders.
Without a healthy, small intestine, it is impossible to make healthy blood, and without healthy blood, it is impossible to make healthy body cells that make up body organs.
Dr. Gabe also states, "your stomach is so acidic that no food or drink can change its acidity.
Citrus fruits, vinegar, and vitamins such as ascorbic acid or folic acid do not change the acidity of your stomach or your bloodstream. An entire bottle of calcium pills or antacids would not change the acidity of your stomach for more than a few minutes."
This is just wrong. This is where Dr. Gabe Mirkin does not understand or has perhaps never been aware that the stomach lining secretes an equal amount of sodium bicarbonate into the stomach in order to alkalize the food, drink and supplements that we eat with a toxic acidic waste product of hydrochloric acid which is taken up by the blood to be eliminated.
When the body does not have enough sodium bicarbonate to alkalize food, the hydrochloric acid that is then produced will fall into the gastric pits of the stomach. Ideally, it would NEVER come into contact with the food as the sodium bicarbonate rises to the front or comes to the fore in order to alkalize the food or liquids ingested. The equation is:
NaCl + H20 + C02 <=> NaHC03 + HCL. The stomach begins producing and releasing sodium bicarbonate (an alkalizing compound) immediately when you put food or drink into your mouth. You can test the saliva after eating or drinking an acid food and you will find that in a healthy person, the pH of the saliva goes up to a pH of 8 or even greater.
When you put something into your mouth, the salivary glands immediately begin secreting sodium bicarbonate to increase the pH. This does not happen when you eat or drink an alkaline food or drink.
Another simple experiment will show you that when you combine sodium bicarbonate with hydrochloric acid in a flask, the hydrochloric acid will fall to the bottom of the flask as the sodium bicarbonate will rise to the top. This is what happens in the stomach. The sodium bicarbonate made from the cover cells of the stomach rises to the front to meet the food or liquids ingested as the hydrochloric acid falls into the gastric pits of the stomach away from the food or drink ingested. The primary purpose of sodium bicarbonate rising to the forefront is to alkalize the food, not digest or acidify the food. The stomach is an organ of contribution NOT digestion. Its main contribution is to manufacture sodium bicarbonate designed by Mother Nature to alkalize the food and liquids we ingest.
Dr. Gabe then states, "all foods that leave your stomach are acidic."
This statement is not categorically true as stated by Dr. Gabe. And ideally, it would never be true.
It would depend on how acid or alkaline the food is that you are dealing with and how healthy the body is. All food coming out of the stomach should be alkaline in preparation to be received by the small intestine at a pH of 8.2 to 8.4. If the food that comes out of the stomach into the duodenum is less than a pH of 8, then a healthy pancreas and gallbladder will secrete additional sodium bicarbonate in order to bring up the pH of the liquid food to an 8.2 to
8.4 pH. The secretion of sodium bicarbonate is only possible if the foundational elements of sodium, chloride, carbon dioxide and water are available from the blood. The stomach is the major organ for producing the alkaline sodium bicarbonate and is responsible for alkalizing and not digesting the food and liquids that we ingest.
Dr. Gabe also states, "the food enters your intestines where secretions from your pancreas neutralize the stomach acids. So no matter what you eat, the food in stomach is acidic and the food in the intestines is alkaline."
I would like you to understand that the pancreas and the gallbladder are only second in line or back-up glands to bring up the pH of the food or liquids ingested to the ideal 8.2 to 8.4 by secreting sodium bicarbonate. The alkalizing of our food and drink is very important in order that the liquefied food can be transformed into new stem cells in the crypts of the small intestine or the root system of the body for making new blood. If the liquid food is too acidic, it will harm and even destroy the intestinal villi. This will lead to many if not all sickness and dis-ease including all blood disorders.
Dr. Gabe then states, "You cannot change the acidity of any part of your body except your urine. Your bloodstream and organs control acidity in a very narrow range. Anything that changes acidity in your body would make you very sick and could even kill you. Promoters of these products claim that cancer cells cannot live in an alkaline environment and that is true, but neither can any of the other cells in your body.
First of all, there is no such thing as a cancer cell. There are only cells which have become cancerous. Cancerous cells-originally healthy cells-have been spoiled with dietary and/or metabolic acids. When you increase your alkalinity by simply using sodium bicarbonate, not only does your urine pH go up above 8, but your tears, sweat and saliva will also go up.
Our bodies are alkaline by design and acidic by function. Any food or drink that we ingest that will maintain that alkaline design will also preserve the body from aging and will keep it healthy, energetic and youthful.
Our body cells love alkalinity just like the ocean fish that swim in a pH of 8.3. My clinical microscopy and analysis over a 30 year period of research tells us that body cells thrive in mild, moderate and high pH fluids ranging from
7.3 to 11 pH. Body cells do not tolerate even a mild acid state. In fact cancerous cells thrive in a pH of 5.5.
Dr. Merkin goes on to state that "all chemical reactions in your body are started by chemicals called enzymes. For example, if you convert chemical A to chemical B and release energy, enzymes must start these reactions. All enzymes function in a very narrow range of acidity. (The degree of acidity or alkalinity is expressed as "pH."). If your blood changes its acidity or alkalinity for any reason, it is quickly changed back to the normal pH or these enzymes would not function and the necessary chemical reactions would not proceed in your body.
It is amazing to me how so many functions of the body are still not properly understood by so-called modern medicine medical practice that is still actually resting on the wrong foundational germ theory of Louis Pasteur. First of all, the body runs on electrons not enzymes.
The enzymes of the body are the exhaust or the acidic waste products of energy consumption.
We no more need enzymes to run our body then a car needs carbon monoxide to run. They are both acidic waste products of metabolism or energy consumption that need to be eliminated as quickly as possible through their exhaust systems. For the human body, acids would be eliminated through urination, perspiration, defecation or respiration."
Dr. Gabe states, "When you hold your breath, carbon dioxide accumulates in your bloodstream very rapidly and your blood turns acidic, and you will become uncomfortable or even pass out.
This forces you to start breathing again immediately, and the pH returns to normal. If your kidneys are damaged and cannot regulate the acidity of your bloodstream, chemical reactions stop, poisons accumulate in your bloodstream, and you can die."
Here Dr. Gabe is talking out of both sides of his mouth. He is right that when you hold your breath and if the blood cannot purify itself from the acidity, then you would die. But, this is the same thing that happens when you over-indulge in acidic lifestyles and diets. This is the same thing that happens when the body cannot eliminate its acidic waste products fast enough through its elimination systems and organs. So, dietary and/or metabolic acids that are not eliminated are thrown out into the blood and then into the connective tissues and fatty tissues leading to latent tissue acidosis the only cause of dis-ease. If this process continues and the lymphatic system does not or cannot eliminate the acid buildup, because of lack of alkaline hydration and exercise, through perspiration or back into circulation and then eliminated through urination, the acidic body wastes will begin building up and breaking down the body cells and tissues even while the blood is maintaining its alkaline state at
7.365 to 7.4.
When the acidity of the tissues continue, the blood overcompensates by pulling alkalinity from the bones and muscles into the blood and we then note a remarkable increase in the blood pH from
7.36 to 7.4 to 7.5. When the pH of the blood increases in alkalinity, we now know that the tissues are acidic and the body has entered into latent tissue acidosis. If this continues and the alkaline reserves of the body begin to be used up, the pH of the blood will reverse and go from a state of alkalosis or latent tissue acidosis to compensated acidosis to decompensated acidosis until death. That is why we see very sick people wasting away as the body is pulling its alkaline mineral resources from the bones and tissues into the blood in order to maintain the delicate pH balance of the blood at 7.365 to 7.4. When the human body is alkaline by design and acidic by function and is actively engaged in maintaining that alkaline design through an alkaline lifestyle and diet, it is theoretically impossible to lose bone mass or muscle mass or to get sick or tired.

Research Scientists Battle Dangerous Acidic Vaccines
Dr. Shiv Chopra, as a vaccine and drug regulator for Health Canada for nearly forty years, evaluated every red-hot topic in public health. He tried, sometimes successfully, to protect the public from ineffective and harmful vaccines, genetically modified foods, pesticides, carcinogenic antibiotics and hormones used in food-producing animals, and agricultural practices that promote Mad Cow Acid Dis-ease.
Unsurprisingly, he was fired from Health Canada in
2004 for "insubordination" -- in other words, refusing to bow to corporate and government pressure to give a pass to unsafe substances. Dr. Chopra has now written a book, Corrupt to the Core, about his decades of struggle to have the law recognized as being above political policy.
Chopra observes that despite vaccinations, some childhood dis-eases are appearing with increasing frequency in the very populations that have been vaccinated for several generations. He finds it alarming that "the list of vaccines being administered to young children has been enlarged to include many more viral and bacterial infections with little or no scientific rationale."
The U.S. Center for Disease Control continues to argue that 36,000 people die annually of the flu, even though available statistics show that the true number is less than 100. Meanwhile, current research has shown that merely increasing vitamin D levels reduces the incidence of the flu by more than 70 percent.
Vaccination programs whose scientific basis is so flawed as to border on the absurd include Tamiflu, which has been discontinued in Japan because of so many deaths from sudden serious psychiatric disorders, and Gardasil, which during the first year of its use has resulted in more than 3,500 adverse events, more than any vaccine in history. Gardasil contains a whopping 675 micrograms of toxic aluminum, and one of the scientists who developed it, Diane M. Harper, warned that the vaccine had never been tested on young girls before it was released for widespread use by them.
Perhaps the worst is MMR, which supposedly provides immunity against measles, mumps, and rubella. More than 4,900 U.S. families have filed lawsuits after their children became autistic within days of getting this shot.
A second area of concern in Dr. Chopra's career was bacterial antibiotic resistance, which is wholly avoidable and caused solely by use of antibiotics in food-producing animals and the reckless over-prescribing habits of doctors.
There are currently entire classes of antibiotics that should not even be on the market; Dr. Chopra fought vigorously and unsuccessfully to keep Baytril and Revelor-H off the market. They were finally banned more than a decade after his warnings because of the undeniable harm they cause.
According to Dr. Robert O. Young, a research scientist at the pH Miracle Living Center, "taking a vaccine or an antibiotic of any kind will only prove that you can poison yourself and then hopefully live through the experience.
There is no such thing as a safe or effective vaccine. All vaccines and antibiotic are highly acidic and have the potential to make one very sick and very tired. True immunity can only be found by maintaining the alkaline design of the body fluids with an alkaline lifestyle and diet.
This is the best way to protect oneself from an over-acidification of the blood and tissues due to an inverted way of living, eating and thinking that leads to ALL sickness and dis-ease."

2004 for "insubordination" -- in other words, refusing to bow to corporate and government pressure to give a pass to unsafe substances. Dr. Chopra has now written a book, Corrupt to the Core, about his decades of struggle to have the law recognized as being above political policy.
Chopra observes that despite vaccinations, some childhood dis-eases are appearing with increasing frequency in the very populations that have been vaccinated for several generations. He finds it alarming that "the list of vaccines being administered to young children has been enlarged to include many more viral and bacterial infections with little or no scientific rationale."
The U.S. Center for Disease Control continues to argue that 36,000 people die annually of the flu, even though available statistics show that the true number is less than 100. Meanwhile, current research has shown that merely increasing vitamin D levels reduces the incidence of the flu by more than 70 percent.
Vaccination programs whose scientific basis is so flawed as to border on the absurd include Tamiflu, which has been discontinued in Japan because of so many deaths from sudden serious psychiatric disorders, and Gardasil, which during the first year of its use has resulted in more than 3,500 adverse events, more than any vaccine in history. Gardasil contains a whopping 675 micrograms of toxic aluminum, and one of the scientists who developed it, Diane M. Harper, warned that the vaccine had never been tested on young girls before it was released for widespread use by them.
Perhaps the worst is MMR, which supposedly provides immunity against measles, mumps, and rubella. More than 4,900 U.S. families have filed lawsuits after their children became autistic within days of getting this shot.
A second area of concern in Dr. Chopra's career was bacterial antibiotic resistance, which is wholly avoidable and caused solely by use of antibiotics in food-producing animals and the reckless over-prescribing habits of doctors.
There are currently entire classes of antibiotics that should not even be on the market; Dr. Chopra fought vigorously and unsuccessfully to keep Baytril and Revelor-H off the market. They were finally banned more than a decade after his warnings because of the undeniable harm they cause.
According to Dr. Robert O. Young, a research scientist at the pH Miracle Living Center, "taking a vaccine or an antibiotic of any kind will only prove that you can poison yourself and then hopefully live through the experience.
There is no such thing as a safe or effective vaccine. All vaccines and antibiotic are highly acidic and have the potential to make one very sick and very tired. True immunity can only be found by maintaining the alkaline design of the body fluids with an alkaline lifestyle and diet.

Low Acid Lifestyle and Diet Slows Prostate Inflammation and PSA
A diet low in trans-saturated fat, high in alkalizing fruit and vegetables and low in animal protein, including dairy products, is associated with a "substantial" increase in prostate-specific antigen (PSA) doubling time and an increase in quality of life, according to results of a pilot study.
PSA is used as a biological marker for an acidic prostate; the higher this number gets, the greater is the man's risk of a cancerous acidic prostate or prostatitis (acid caused inflammation of the prostate). The PSA "doubling time" is the time it takes for PSA levels to increase by 100 percent.
The study subjects included 36 men with biopsy-confirmed prostate cancer who had received primary treatment for more than 6 months previously and who had increasing PSA levels.
Dr. James Carmody and colleagues at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester randomly assigned the subjects and their partners to attend 11 dietary and cooking classes and mindfulness practice to support the change in diet or to a control group.
Assessments of dietary compliance, quality of life and PSA levels were made at the beginning of the study, after the 11-week intervention, and again 3 months after the intervention was assessed. The findings are published in the journal Urology.
The intervention group consumed significantly less trans-saturated fat, more fruit and vegetables and less animal protein, including dairy products, than did the controls. They also reported more indicators of increased quality of life compared with the controls.
"Although no significant change was found in the rate of PSA increase between the two groups, the mean PSA doubling time for the intervention group was substantially longer at the 3-month follow-up visit than that of the controls," Dr. Carmody and colleagues report.

The Acid Sugar Negatively Affects The DNA

Gentically Modified Food Leads To New Dis-ease
Just in case you thought it was fine to eat Genetically Modified (GM) foods (better identified as "FrankenFoods"), along comes a study which makes it clear that you are eating a make believe non-food at your own peril and, worse yet, you are feeding it to your kids at their peril as well.
It is important to note that Codex Alimentarius, which sets standards for the international trade of food, permits genetically modified (GM) foods and makes no effort to limit, control or eliminate them. In fact, the US has been trying for years to prevent the labeling of GM foods and seed in international trade to emulate its domestic policy which prohibits any label indication that foods contain GM ingredients, as 75-80% of all foods sold in the US do.
Now it appears that the increasingly prevalent nightmare of a dis-ease called "Morgellon's Dis-ease" may be a result of GM crops and food.
Morgellon's Dis-ease was first described when a woman's 3 year old son developed rashes and intensely itchy sores which produced weird multi-color fibers emerging from his skin. She put up a website about the condition in 2001 and named it "Morgellons Disease" after a 17th century report of a similar affliction.
The allopathic community of Western, drug-oriented physicians labeled sufferers as delusional. As a scientist, I have a great deal of difficulty explaining how a delusion can produce colored fibers which protrude from the skin and continue to grow in a petri dish. Be that as it may, the multi-colored fibers produced by the "delusion" have been analyzed and we now know that Morgellon's Dis-ease is no longer rare, nor is it mysterious any longer. A study of the fibers shows that they contain DNA from both a fungus and a bacterium which are used in the commercial preparation of genetically modified (GM) foods and non-food crops (such as cotton). The fibers themselves are primarily cellulose, which the human body cannot breakdown or manufacture.
So, GM technology apparently has, like Professor Frankenstein, found a way to animate the non-living. These fibers twist and twine, grow and divide. In short, living beneath the skin of people, they form parasitic lesions out of what should be non-living material but which, through the horror of genetic modification, have taken on the characteristics of a living thing.
The symptoms are so unbearable that a number of people suffering from the disorder have committed suicide rather than deal with the unbearable pain. The constant feeling of something very much like an insect crawling without stop beneath the skin and unbearable itching are two common symptoms. Of course, it is possible to speculate that the attitude of most physicians that the condition is a mental aberration rather than a physical one may not have helped these poor souls to cope with their affliction.
How wide spread is Morgellon's Dis-ease? Some registries have 1200 or more people but these registrants only represent those who have access to the internet and have stumbled across the registry sites. The disease produces material unlike anything most people have ever seen. (http://www.morgellons.org/) and these pictures show fibers removed from lesions on the skin of Morgellon's Dis-ease sufferers.
No picture, however, can show you the insects crawling under the skin day and night that torment their victims. Frighteningly, some researchers say that every person they have tested has some level of Morgellon's type pathology in their skin.
If the hypothesis is accurate and the dis-ease is caused by sowing, growing and eating GM food, that would, however, make sense. 75-80 % of all US food contains unlabeled GM ingredients. We have no mechanisms in the body to breakdown these unnatural components of the materials which the FDA says are the same as food and prohibits the labeling thereof. We have no way of getting rid of the indigestible, toxic or even lethal acidic materials injected into the nucleus of our food by high energy guns and biochemical tricks that nature never thought of.
Given that the US is allowing the greatest biological experiment in the history of humankind, we should not be skeptical about the possibility that this tragic and terrifying dis-ease may be caused by terrifying make-believe food with all-too-real dangers inserted inside them where they cannot be seen, tasted, or otherwise detected by normal means, only by specialized laboratories.
Part of the objective of the pH Miracle Living Center and Legal Fund is to make sure that 3rd world countries have the labs, and the training necessary to determine what food is clean and safe, and what food is damaged by techniques by Genetic Manipulation.
In the meantime, there is a very important Codex meeting in Ottawa. Either the African Pro-health Coalition will hold its ground in the meeting and continue to defy the US and hold fast to their fervent determination to not allow GM seeds into their countries and to require substantial labeling on all foods which contain GM components.

Since the Clinton administration made biotechnology "a strategic priority for U.S. government backing" (1), giant transnational agri-business concerns have aggressively taken over the global food chain by flooding it with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) without regard for the consequences to the earth or its inhabitants. This takeover not only has the potential for global economic devastation, but threatens the earth's population with far-reaching health concerns as well. One health concern that seems to coincide with the GMO revolution is Morgellons disease. What if the advent of Morgellons dis-ease has something to do with the ingestion of GMO foods?
Morgellons Dis-ease - What is it?
Very little can be found regarding this disease. Originally, sufferers were told that their problem was imaginary. This was of little comfort to the people who were suffering.
Morgellons Dis-ease sufferers report strange, fiber-like material sticking out of sores or wounds that erupt on the skin. This is accompanied by painful, intense itching, that has been described as "an ever present sensation as if something is crawling under the skin." (2)
On May 18, 2006, KGW, a local news channel reporting out of the Oregon area published this story:

[Dr. Drottar] The disabled family practice doctor felt like bugs were crawling under her skin.
"If I fully tell people what has gone on with me medically, they think they're in the twilight zone," said Drottar.
She woke up with the feeling that fluid was flowing just below her skin. Often black or blue hair like fibers protruded from her skin, she said.
"I thought I had been exposed to asbestos. I thought I was having asbestos fibers come out of my skin. I was pulling long, thin, small hair-like fibers that were extremely sharp that could literally pierce through my finger nails," Drottar said.
In addition to the feeling of bugs and the fibers, Drottar also suffered from severe depression, chronic fatigue and a weakened immune system. As a result, she had to give up her family practice, Drottar said. (3)
Morgellons and GMO - the Link
Little information has been revealed concerning the long-term health effects of GMO crops on humans or animals, and even less information can be had regarding research correlating Morgellons with GMO foods. This is suspicious right off the bat, because it would seem that there would be a natural curiosity regarding a link between Genetically Modified Organisms that people ingest regularly and inorganic fibers that protrude from a person's skin. This would be right up a geneticist's alley, and quite worthy of intensive research. So, why aren't there a ton of published studies? Why is it so difficult finding anything related to this? Could it be that companies such as Monsanto have enough clout to effectively squash these stories? If they have enough clout to ruin countries by deceiving impoverished farmers into purchasing patented GMO seeds, and then take it a step further and force these poor people to purchase seeds year after year instead of harvesting their own, then they have enough clout to ask our more than willing corporate government to manipulate the press...again.
According to Mike Stagman, PhD, "Genetic Engineering is a nightmare technology that has already caused MANY disease epidemics -- documented but unpublicized." (4)
Well Monsanto, you let at least one study slip through. With the help of a couple of search engines, the following article by Whitley Strieber published on October 12, 2007, titled "Skin Disease May Be Linked to GM Food" was found, which concludes that the fibers taken from a Morgellons sufferer contain the same substance that is "used commercially to produce genetically-modified plants." Many people--and most physicians--have written off Morgellons disease as either a hoax or hypochondria. But now there is evidence that this mysterious disease may be REAL and related to GENETICALLY MODIFIED food!
The skin of Morgellons victims oozes mysterious strands that have been identified as cellulose (which cannot be manufactured by the human body), and people have the sensation of things crawling beneath their skin. The first known case of Morgellons occurred in 2001, when Mary Leitao created a web site describing the disease, which had infected her young son. She named it Morgellons after a 17th century medical study in France that described the same symptoms.
In the Sept. 15-21 issue of New Scientist magazine, Daniel Elkan describes a patient he calls "Steve Jackson," who "for years" has "been finding tiny blue, red and black fibers growing in intensely itchy lesions on his skin." He quotes Jackson as saying, "The fibers are like pliable plastic and can be several millimeters long. Under the skin, some are folded in a zigzag pattern. These can be as fine as spider silk, yet strong enough to distend the skin when you pull them, as if you were pulling on a hair."
Doctors say that this type of disease could only be caused by a parasite, but anti-parasitic medications do not help. Psychologists insist that this is a new version of the well-known syndrome known as "delusional parasitosis." While this is a "real" disease, it is not a physically-caused one.
But now there is physical evidence that Morgellons is NOT just psychological. When pharmacologist Randy Wymore offered to study some of these fibers if people sent them to him, he discovered that "fibers from different people looked remarkably similar to each other and yet seem to match no common environmental fibers."
When they took them to a police forensic team, they said they were not from clothing, carpets or bedding. They have no idea what they are.
Researcher Ahmed Kilani says he was able to break down two fiber samples and extract their DNA. He found that they belonged to a fungus.
An even more provocative finding is that biochemist Vitaly Citovsky discovered that the fibers contain a substance called "Agrobacterium," which, according to New Scientist, is "used commercially to produce genetically-modified plants." Could GM plants be "causing a new human disease?" (5)
GMO - Not on My Watch!
The giant transnational corporations behind the GMO revolution are hitting us in our most vulnerable spot - our bellies. Most people have been brought up with an innate trust that what they purchase from the store is safe to eat. This is no longer true, since most processed foods contain genetically engineered ingredients that can have disastrous effects on both animal and human health. What you purchase from the corner store might just change your DNA and create such frightening symptoms that the general public simply does not believe it. What is worse is that when you go to the doctor to get help, he/she tells you what you are experiencing is all in your head. This is rubbish! It is up to people who care to make the correlations between what we eat and what happens to our bodies. Remember the old saying - "you are what you eat?" Well, I know this is true.

[Dr. Drottar] The disabled family practice doctor felt like bugs were crawling under her skin.
"If I fully tell people what has gone on with me medically, they think they're in the twilight zone," said Drottar.
She woke up with the feeling that fluid was flowing just below her skin. Often black or blue hair like fibers protruded from her skin, she said.
"I thought I had been exposed to asbestos. I thought I was having asbestos fibers come out of my skin. I was pulling long, thin, small hair-like fibers that were extremely sharp that could literally pierce through my finger nails," Drottar said.
In addition to the feeling of bugs and the fibers, Drottar also suffered from severe depression, chronic fatigue and a weakened immune system. As a result, she had to give up her family practice, Drottar said. (3)
Morgellons and GMO - the Link
Little information has been revealed concerning the long-term health effects of GMO crops on humans or animals, and even less information can be had regarding research correlating Morgellons with GMO foods. This is suspicious right off the bat, because it would seem that there would be a natural curiosity regarding a link between Genetically Modified Organisms that people ingest regularly and inorganic fibers that protrude from a person's skin. This would be right up a geneticist's alley, and quite worthy of intensive research. So, why aren't there a ton of published studies? Why is it so difficult finding anything related to this? Could it be that companies such as Monsanto have enough clout to effectively squash these stories? If they have enough clout to ruin countries by deceiving impoverished farmers into purchasing patented GMO seeds, and then take it a step further and force these poor people to purchase seeds year after year instead of harvesting their own, then they have enough clout to ask our more than willing corporate government to manipulate the press...again.

Well Monsanto, you let at least one study slip through. With the help of a couple of search engines, the following article by Whitley Strieber published on October 12, 2007, titled "Skin Disease May Be Linked to GM Food" was found, which concludes that the fibers taken from a Morgellons sufferer contain the same substance that is "used commercially to produce genetically-modified plants." Many people--and most physicians--have written off Morgellons disease as either a hoax or hypochondria. But now there is evidence that this mysterious disease may be REAL and related to GENETICALLY MODIFIED food!
The skin of Morgellons victims oozes mysterious strands that have been identified as cellulose (which cannot be manufactured by the human body), and people have the sensation of things crawling beneath their skin. The first known case of Morgellons occurred in 2001, when Mary Leitao created a web site describing the disease, which had infected her young son. She named it Morgellons after a 17th century medical study in France that described the same symptoms.
In the Sept. 15-21 issue of New Scientist magazine, Daniel Elkan describes a patient he calls "Steve Jackson," who "for years" has "been finding tiny blue, red and black fibers growing in intensely itchy lesions on his skin." He quotes Jackson as saying, "The fibers are like pliable plastic and can be several millimeters long. Under the skin, some are folded in a zigzag pattern. These can be as fine as spider silk, yet strong enough to distend the skin when you pull them, as if you were pulling on a hair."
Doctors say that this type of disease could only be caused by a parasite, but anti-parasitic medications do not help. Psychologists insist that this is a new version of the well-known syndrome known as "delusional parasitosis." While this is a "real" disease, it is not a physically-caused one.
But now there is physical evidence that Morgellons is NOT just psychological. When pharmacologist Randy Wymore offered to study some of these fibers if people sent them to him, he discovered that "fibers from different people looked remarkably similar to each other and yet seem to match no common environmental fibers."
When they took them to a police forensic team, they said they were not from clothing, carpets or bedding. They have no idea what they are.
Researcher Ahmed Kilani says he was able to break down two fiber samples and extract their DNA. He found that they belonged to a fungus.
An even more provocative finding is that biochemist Vitaly Citovsky discovered that the fibers contain a substance called "Agrobacterium," which, according to New Scientist, is "used commercially to produce genetically-modified plants." Could GM plants be "causing a new human disease?" (5)
GMO - Not on My Watch!
The giant transnational corporations behind the GMO revolution are hitting us in our most vulnerable spot - our bellies. Most people have been brought up with an innate trust that what they purchase from the store is safe to eat. This is no longer true, since most processed foods contain genetically engineered ingredients that can have disastrous effects on both animal and human health. What you purchase from the corner store might just change your DNA and create such frightening symptoms that the general public simply does not believe it. What is worse is that when you go to the doctor to get help, he/she tells you what you are experiencing is all in your head. This is rubbish! It is up to people who care to make the correlations between what we eat and what happens to our bodies. Remember the old saying - "you are what you eat?" Well, I know this is true.

Weight Bearing Exercising Helpful for Back Pain
People who use weight training to ease their lower back pain are better off than those who choose other forms of exercise such as jogging, according to a University of Alberta study.The study, done in conjunction with the University of Regina, showed a 60 per cent improvement in pain and function levels for people with chronic backache who took part in a 16-week exercise program of resistance training using dumbbells, barbells and other load-bearing exercise equipment.
In contrast, people who chose aerobic training such as jogging, walking on a treadmill or using an elliptical machine to ease their back pain only experienced a 12 per cent improvement, said Robert Kell, an assistant professor of exercise physiology at the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus.
The resistance-training group showed improvements in pain and function of about 60 per cent, while those who took aerobic training experienced only a 12 per cent improvement.
"Any activity that makes you feel better is something you should pursue, but the research indicates that we get better pain management results from resistance training." The extra benefits stem from using the whole-body approach required in resistance training, Kell believes. "We tried to strengthen the entire body and by doing that, we decreased the fatigue people felt throughout the day. They were better able to perform their activities of daily living." Aerobics training generally works just the lower body, he added.
Approximately 80 per cent of North Americans suffer from lower back pain at some point in their lifetimes, and for 85 per cent of them the pain is chronic.
Both types of training did provide other fitness benefits, such as lower acidic body fat.
According to Dr. Robert O. Meditation Works For Depression
A British study that pitted traditional Buddhist meditation against acidic anti-depressant drugs for symptoms of depression found that meditation prevented more relapses. The "Telegraph" reported that fifteen months after an eight-week trial, only 47 percent of people using meditation experienced a relapse compared with 60 percent of those taking highly acidic anti-depressants.
"Anti-depressants are widely used by people who suffer from depression and that's because they tend to work," said Professor Willem Kuyken of the Mood Disorders Centre at the University of Exeter. "But while they're very effective in helping reduce the symptoms of depression, when people come off them they are particularly vulnerable to relapse."
